2015

Its been quite a year to date one way or another.  In some ways too much has happened.  Trip to NZ, goodbye to Dad - never expected this - flare ups just to name a couple of things so there has not been much creating happening in this neck of the woods.  Here's a few things hopefully I'll get back into it shortly.

Two different envelope cards.

Canvas ordered for a birthday present.

Birthday card for a 2nd birthday party for a smart pup friends dog.

 The side Mum knitted
My side & the surprise flowers Mum did for me we did the tie together was a nice useful item that I love :)

Playing in my journal 2015 January

Various playing pages:

The background started out as a way to use
up paint & stencil that I was using for another
project an turned into this.  Had a lot of fun
playing on this page.

Left over paint from a few projects created
this background and I just came across
this quote one day and wanted to use it.

January Documented life journal

This year I signed up to do Documented life journal (#DLP) life this year for the first time.   My plan is to do a post for each month.

January Theme
The Blank Page and How to Face It!

January 1
Art Challenge: Book Paper
Journal Prompt: Be Your Own Goal Keeper

I used my word for the year - direction

January 10
Art Challenge:  Gesso
Journal Prompt:  “The beginning is always today.” -Mary Shelley

So many layers on this page, the most I have ever
used as well as being the brightest page ever and
the one with the most butterflies.  Really love the
way this page came out of my head onto the page :)

January 17
Art Challenge:  The Color Wheel
Journal Prompt:  "I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way . . . “    - Georgia O’Keefe
