Canvas's for eldest 2 granddaughters

Was trying to find the blog & looks like I neglected to make one at the time so here they are.  I did them for their new home, they each have their own bedroom & they are done to reflect their ages & colours choices. They are both quite different, yet I enjoyed making them both.

This first one was purple & horses for my eldest granddaughter who is 11 today as I write this.

 Background was such fun to create.

I stencilled the horse.

This next one was yellow so I opted 

for a torn paper background.

 This was how I laid it out to get 

an idea of where I wanted the bits to go.

This is what I ended up with, quite different.

The finished canvas.  She has a love of cats and

animals so added the pink poodle to represent

Sharray, birds & horses.  It certainly is yellow 

and purple her favourite colours at the time.

I still need to make one for the next granddaughter who

has already asked for a purple one.  Last will be one for

my last grandchild, a boy so that will be quite different, will 

wait a little see what things he likes as he's only a newborn.
